Caring for your Cosmetic Tattoo

  • Day 1: Gently wipe your tattoo with the provided wipes throughout the day to remove any lymph fluid. Before bed apply a light coat of ointment with a cotton swab.
  • Day 2-4: Clean the treated area 2-3 times a day and apply a thin layer of ointment once in the morning and once at night.
  • Day 5-14: If your tattoo has scabbed, do not pick. Allow the scabs to come off naturally. Keep your tattoo moisturized with a non-fragrance, non-alcohol moisturizer.

During the tattoo healing process also follow these protocols:

  • Thoroughly wash your hands before touching the treated area.
  • Avoid applying makeup to the treated area for 2 weeks.
  • Do not scratch or pick off scabs, dry skin or flakiness.
  • Avoid swimming and sweating for 2 weeks.
  • Do not apply Vaseline, Neosporin or other petroleum based products on the treated area.
  • Avoid use of fragranced cleansers, soaps and creams around the area until scabbing is complete.
